I don’t know how I got into downing money to open a blogging site with its own domain name but I did it during a neurotic late night with bouts of boredom.
I have had thoughts of opening my own blog for a while so this is a very big step for me. Some say that the benefits of opening a blog is that I can become a better writer – a skill that I have not put to much use after graduating university with a Creative Writing and English degree (it is still unframed by the way) in 2013.
Create a sleepless night. Add a lonely non-practicing creative writing major who has a leg in a cast for four weeks. There! You got yourself the perfect recipe for creating a semi-impulsive blog.
I am pretty impulsive. I don’t run on planning things out. Sometimes it is to my benefit and sometimes it is against it. Some of the impulsive things I have done in the past four months are signing up with a highly regarded but costly improv studio for an introductory class on improv and booking a trip to another country less than a month of when I would be going.
Anyway, maybe I will go more in-depth with why I decided to open a blog at a later time.
In the meantime I want to warn you that I am not really good with grammar. Most of my English papers in college did not earn A’s because of this problem I have. Expect a lot of run-on sentences (like I know what that even means) and possibly the occasional misuse of ‘where’, ‘wear’, and ‘were’ – I am joking about that one.
